The Quality Assurance Cell of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages has organized a workshop titled "Students’ Rights and Obligations at a Higher Education Institute". It's scheduled to be held on 08th November 2024 at 6.00 PM via Zoom. The resource person for this session will be Dr. Prathibha Mahanamahewa, Former Dean Law and Professor, University of Technology, Jamaica.

We have designed this workshop to educate students on their rights and responsibilities within a higher education institute. And also to equip students with the skills to advocate for their rights and resolve conflicts through proper channels, fostering a respectful and inclusive academic environment.
