A workshop on Environment and Sports (Baseball 5) was successfully held on 25 November 2024 at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, featuring the participation of four JICA volunteers.
The session was conducted by Ms. Yuka Minami, Ms. Toko Kurata, Mr. Kazuya Endo, and Mr. Rintarou Tsukamoto. It provided Japanese language students with an engaging blend of environmental awareness and sports-based learning.
Participants gained valuable insights into environmental issues while actively engaging in interactive Baseball 5 gaming sessions. The activities also helped students develop teamwork, communication, and coordination skills in a fun and dynamic setting.
The workshop successfully combined education and recreation, creating an enjoyable learning environment that encouraged both physical activity and environmental consciousness. The Department extends its sincere appreciation to the JICA volunteers for their enthusiasm and contribution, as well as to all participants who made the event a lively and meaningful experience.
