The Department of Geography and Environmental Management, Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, successfully conducted a workshop on GIS Spatial Analysis in ArcGIS Pro on 11th February 2025.
The session was conducted by resource persons from GIS Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, Colombo, including Mr. Supun Siriwardena, General Manager, Ms. Chamodani Wijesinghe, Technical Manager/Trainer, and Mr. Deshan Sellahewa, GIS Analyst.
The workshop provided a valuable opportunity for the academic staff members of the Department to enhance their GIS knowledge and practical skills in advanced spatial analysis techniques. It also supported the effective application of GIS tools in teaching, research, and academic work.
The Department extended its sincere appreciation to the resource persons for their expertise, dedication, and valuable knowledge sharing, and looks forward to future collaborative learning opportunities.
