IX Academic Group Mentoring Session on Examination Duties
On 13th March 2026, the Faculty Academic Mentoring Steering Committee (FMSC) successfully conducted the IX Academic Group Mentoring Session, focusing on the critical theme of Examination Duties at the Board Room, Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages (FSSL), SUSL.
We were privileged to have Professor K. V. D. Edirisooriya as our resource person for this session. Her profound expertise provided participants with invaluable guidance on the administrative and ethical responsibilities inherent in examination duties. From mastering invigilation protocols to maintaining the highest standards of examination integrity, her insights were both practical and empowering.
The session was attended by probationary lecturers, temporary assistant lecturers, and academic support staff of FSSL. This program stands as a vital step in providing our newly recruited academics with the necessary skills for effective logistical coordination and quality assurance in assessment.
