The Department of Languages, Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, successfully hosted a Japanese Calligraphy Workshop conducted by Ms. Takata Junko on 6 March 2025 at the Japanese Laboratory.
The workshop comprised two interactive sessions and attracted nearly 60 enthusiastic participants. Students were introduced to the art of Japanese calligraphy and gained valuable hands-on experience while learning traditional techniques under expert guidance.
The event provided a unique opportunity for students to engage with an important aspect of Japanese culture and artistic expression. The Department extends its sincere appreciation to Ms. Takata Junko for sharing her expertise and inspiring participants through the beauty and discipline of Japanese calligraphy.
