Department of Languages, Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages successfully hosted a workshop on Primary Education in Japan on 5 March 2025, providing participants with valuable insights into the Japanese education system.
The workshop was conducted by JICA volunteers Mr. Kono Ryoken and Ms. Iwakura Shiina, who facilitated a range of interactive activities and discussions. Their engaging presentations enabled participants to gain a deeper understanding of teaching practices and educational experiences in Japanese primary schools.
The event brought together Japanese language students from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, students from the Faculty of Management Studies, and students from Panadura Royal College, creating a vibrant environment for learning and cultural exchange.
The Faculty extends its sincere appreciation to Mr. Kono Ryoken and Ms. Iwakura Shiina for sharing their knowledge and contributing to a meaningful and enriching educational experience.
