Mentoring Session 1 was held on 17 November 2025 from 2.00β6.00 p.m., led by Dr. H. P. Rasika Priyankara and organized by the Faculty Academic Mentoring Steering Committee (FMSC), FSSL.
The session brought together newly recruited academics, with Prof. Manohari Uduporuwa (Acting Dean/FSSL) and Prof. Darshanee Ruwandeepika (Director, CQA/SUSL) attending as special invitees.
The workshop focused on developing a strong academic identity through reflections on long-term career pathways, personal strengths, values, and structured goal setting. Participants prepared their personal vision statements and outlined short- and long-term career goals, gaining clarity and direction for their academic journey.
