Mentoring Session II was held on 18 November 2025 from 9.00โ€“11.00 a.m., led by Dr. M. D. N. M. U. Mahawaththa and organized by the Faculty Academic Mentoring Steering Committee (FMSC), FSSL.

The session engaged newly recruited academics, including probationary and temporary Assistant Lecturers and Academic Supportive Staff. The workshop focused on strengthening teaching competencies through effective lesson planning, student-centered engagement strategies, and the integration of technology in classroom practice.

Participants took part in practical demonstrations, micro-teaching activities, and peer-reflection exercises, gaining enhanced confidence and effectiveness in their teaching roles.
