An awareness session on Fulbright Opportunities and Education USA, organized by the United StatesโSri Lanka Fulbright Commission in collaboration with the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, was held on October 16, 2025, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Faculty Boardroom.
The session was conducted by Dr. Patrick McNamara, Executive Director of the United StatesโSri Lanka Fulbright Commission, and focused on Fulbright scholarships, postgraduate studies, and academic opportunities in the United States.
The event was held with the presence of Dr. Rohan Abeywickrama, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, along with academic staff members from all faculties and students who actively participated in the discussion.
