We are delighted to share that Group Mentoring Session V: โ€œCareer Development & Networkingโ€, organized by the Faculty Mentoring Steering Committee (FMSC) of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages (FSSL), SUSL, was successfully held on 21st January 2026 from 5.00 p.m. โ€“ 7.00 p.m. at the Board Room, FSSL.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Prof. G. R. S. R. C. Samaraweera for serving as the Resource Person and delivering an insightful and inspiring session. His valuable guidance on strategic career planning and the importance of professional networking provided practical direction for newly recruited academics and academic supportive staff as they navigate their academic careers. The session was highly interactive and well received by all participants.

The programme was conducted under the Group Mentoring Programme for Temporary Assistant Lecturers and Academic Supportive Staff, continuing the Facultyโ€™s commitment to strengthening professional growth and mentorship within the academic community.
