𝐀 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫–𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞

The Faculty Academic Mentoring Steering Committee (FMSC) of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages successfully completed the first Mentor–Mentee meet-up on 27th January 2026.

The session was graced by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. K.R.W.K.H. Abaywickrama, along with Prof. W.M. Ariyarathne, Prof. W.J. Welgama, Prof. G. R. S. R. C. Samaraweera (Coordinator/FMSC), Prof. U.S. Thathsarani, Ms. K.B.P.C.A. Wijerathne (Secretary/FMSC), and the Probationary Lecturers of FSSL, whose presence made the event meaningful and impactful.

This meet-up marked a strong beginning for a collaborative mentoring journey focused on academic and professional growth.
