On 3rd February 2026, the Faculty Academic Mentoring Steering Committee (FMSC) successfully hosted the VII Academic Group Mentoring Session on Publication Skills at the Skills Development Center, Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, SUSL.

We were honoured to have Prof. S.S.R.M.D.H.R. Wijesekara from the Department of Natural Resources, Faculty of Applied Sciences as the resource person for this insightful session. His expertise guided the participants through the nuances of academic publishing, helping our faculty members enhance their publication skills.

The session was graced by the Dean of FSSL, Prof. K.R.W.K.H. Abeyawickrama, along with probationary lecturers, temporary lecturers, and academic support staff of SUSL. The event was a great success, fostering deeper academic collaboration and growth.

A big thank you to everyone involved for making this session a productive and enriching experience!
