The Association of Political Science successfully organized an insightful workshop titled “Decolonizing and Rethinking the Map of Sri Lanka” on 27th March 2025 at 1.30 p.m., held at the Auditorium, Faculty of Technology.
The session was graced by Prof. Emeritus Nihal Perera (Ball State University, USA) as the resource person, who delivered a thought-provoking discussion on spatial understanding, de-colonial perspectives, and critical approaches to mapping Sri Lanka.
The workshop provided an engaging academic platform for students and participants to reflect on historical narratives and contemporary interpretations of geography and identity.
