The Tamil Drama Festival 2025 was successfully held in 24th of September 2025 at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, bringing together students, performers, and audiences in a vibrant celebration of theatre, culture, and creative expression. The event highlighted the power of drama as a medium for preserving cultural memory, fostering dialogue, and amplifying diverse voices.

The festival featured five stage performances, each centered on a unique and thought-provoking theme: Tamil classical literature, investigation and suspense, family and relationships, education and the younger generation, and information technology and socialism. Through these varied themes, the performances explored contemporary social issues while reflecting the richness of Tamil literary and theatrical traditions.
