Successful Completion of VIII Academic Group Mentoring Session on Paper Setting and Marking
On 27th February 2026, the Faculty Academic Mentoring Steering Committee (FMSC) successfully organized the VIII Academic Group Mentoring Session focusing on Paper Setting and Marking at the Board Room, Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, SUSL.
We were privileged to have Prof. H. M. S. Priyanath as the resource person for this vital session. His expertise provided participants with invaluable guidance on aligning assessments with learning outcomes, developing comprehensive marking schemes and rubrics, and ensuring the highest standards of fairness and consistency in academic evaluations.
The session was attended by probationary lecturers, temporary assistant lecturers, and academic support staff of FSSL. The program proved to be an essential step in empowering our newly recruited academics with the practical skills needed for effective examination management and quality assurance.
A heartfelt thank you to our resource person and all participants for their active engagement in fostering academic excellence within our faculty!
